Adele to conclude tour with Wembley Stadium shows

Adele to conclude tour with Wembley Stadium shows

Adele will mark the end of her long-running live tour with two shows at iconic venue Wembley Stadium in London, England.

The Rolling in the Deep singer celebrated the end of her 2016 live tour dates in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday (21Nov16), which marked her 107th show within 10 months.

Her trek isn't over yet as she will be heading to Australia and New Zealand in February (17) and March (17) and she has now announced she is adding even more dates - two concerts at soccer stadium Wembley on 29 June and 01 July (17), which have been called "The Finale" on her website.

With a capacity of 90,000, there are nearly five times as many tickets available for these new shows than the O2 Arena concerts the singer played when she was last in the capital.

Adele announced her first ever Wembley Stadium shows in a funny video on Twitter in which the singer, wearing a soccer scarf, slowly jogs down the aisle of a concert hall with a ball while singing "She's coming home" into a microphone in the tune of English soccer song Three Lions by comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner and The Lightning Seeds.

"That's right, I'm doing two nights at Wembley Stadium, see you there!" she says as she approaches the camera.

The footage ends with the British singer heading the ball, thrown by an unknown pal, and cheering "Whay!" before she runs back down the aisle singing the theme of U.K. soccer highlights show Match of the Day.

As her Arizona concert finished on Monday, she told the audience, "Give it up for me - I did it!... I'll see you on the other side. In a couple of years, I'll be back. You won't be able to get rid of me."

She also announced plans to have a second child by declaring, "Take me down, I'm off to have another baby!" as she prepared to leave the stage.

Back home, she was surprised by a banner made by her partner Simon Konecki and their four-year-old son Angelo which read, "Mummy you did it!"
